Do you like Steve L. or not?
I dont hate him but i dont think that he is cute!!

That's true, it was a huge misunderstanding! =( And Steve doesn't believe to Darren's words when he tries to explain him what really happened that night.

There are things I would say but I don't want to be a spoiler(I've read all the books)I wanted Steve to die at first but after reading the 12th book my opinion changed.
but i still want steve to die he's a devil little thing...he wanted to kill darren for no reason! now can you explain about that!?!?!?!
I hate STEVE! He's just a creepy and wacky idiot who thinks his own bestfriend would team up with a vampire against him!

But in his mind Darren betrayed him by becoming a Vampire.
But in Darren mind he saved Steve but he had to become a Vampire in order to save Steve.(which is true)
Steve doesn't see it that way he see it differently.
That Darren took his place being a Vampire and he doesn't believe hes evil.

There are a LOT of Steve Leonard's in the world so I highly doubt that the one that 'stalks' you is the 'real' Steve Leonard. Especially since the real Steve would be working on his vampire hunting plans and things like that instead of stalking some annoying little girl. Besides, he would only love me if he were real XDDD Nahhh, we would probably never even meet eachother and Steve doesn't have time for love, and he probably finds all that mushy gushy, lovey dovey stuff, disgusting.

lol well he is in my school and he does look like the one from DS.....which i think you wouldnt know what does he look like but when its not school time when i was walking in the alley to my house he was end of the alley with his knife in his hand O.o

*rolls eyes* How can you say he looks like the one from the books. IT DOESN'T EVEN DESCRIBE WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE! Except in the 8th, it says he has grey hair and was average height. Guess what? Um, most guys are average height, you know why? BECAUSE IT'S AVERAGE! And I seriously doubt that some little kid has grey hair. And like I said, if it were the real Steve (which it isn't. You know why? Hmmm, he's a FICTIONAL book character) if wouldn't waste precious vampire hunting training/planning time to stalk some annoying, little, ignorant girl. He would be plotting Mr. C's and Darren's demise and strengthing in body to be prepared for it. Yeaa, so IT IS NOT STEVE LEOPARD THAT IS STALKING YOU!!! Get that through your thick skull. It's like SwordoftheVampiress said, readers love to hate him (in most cases, unlike mine XD) because he is sucha good villain.
You know you don't have a good villain if you don't really hate them (or really love them for being so evil).

Good Villains are ones that make you want to jump into the fray along with the characters and pound their arrogant faces in. Pity that most of them are good looking like Steve.
I have to applaud Mr.Shan though. These days, most heroes are so whiny you want to pound THEIR faces in. Darren complains but not overly so.

Agreed. Darren's character is realistic and brave but not so much that you cannot pity his situation
I love his character!!And I agree on the Good Villains thing. Then again I suppose you'd wanna do that to poorly made villains too, eh?

Steve has his good points and bad points. You must always have a flawed hero but more importantly you must have a flawed villain.
i don't like this at all.
