Well, I'm still a beginner. You can see where I did some mistakes and I SUCK at shading, I can't shade AT ALL! So my coloring isn't all that good, anybody can do it. All you have to do is get using to pen and brush tool and at first I was all like "Geez, this is so freakin' hard!" but once I got the hang of it, it's quite simple, I did each of those characters in like 20 mintues each but the sketches were easy, if you use a sketch that is very detailed, it's harder and longer. Here's some simple tutorials (I've learned most of what I know from tutorials, but some of what I know just came from experimenting and observing other peoples techniques) that basically taught me (I have a lot of tutorials in my favorites on DevArt that may help you if you want to check them out):

And you're good at the stuff I'm terrible at. For example, you're a WONDERFUL drawer and all I can draw is cherries and palm trees (that's why I use other people's sketches to lineart and color) and you're good at English and I suck *laughs* even if it is my native language. And I have to say, you're drawings don't look like you've done it in ten mintues, I saw the ones you did of Matt and your father and they are so freakin' good!
Yeaa, I did already colour the drawing of Matt, but I can only colour with Hue & Saturation up till now. xD But I could try to colour him how the tutorial describes it. Problem is, that I usually already do the shading when making a drawing. Maybe I should stop doing that. I have a stupid drawing of a cake where I haven't done the shading by hand yet, so maybe I can practise with that one. =]

It would probabl be better if ou did shade when you drew. That way you'd have a guide and it would be WAAAAAY easier to shade on the computer.

I also try to find shading mistakes or proportion mistakes in other people's art, to see if that's what makes the drawing bad, or if it doesn't even stand out.
It depends of course on what you want to draw, but for everything counts, you can't become a professional in 1 day. So just print some examples and try to draw them as accurate as possible. That way, you'll get to know every small part of whatever you're drawing, which makes it easier for the next time you draw it. Don't be satisfied too quickly either. It doesn't have to be an exact copy of the picture you're drawing, but you must be able to see clearly that the person/animal/whatever has the same expression, face and pose. Especially the expression. People will see it immediately when for example, Sasuke (everyone knows him) doesn't have the same dark expression as he has in the manga.
I'm currently trying to stop with the example thing, and it's going pretty well. I'll upload some to DeviantArt when my internet works again. I've also done the first yaoi picture in my whole life. ._. It's mega-mild, though.

Ok. That's what I've been trying to do with the shading. The folds in the clothes aren't that hard to do but the lighting on the faces and stuff like that is what is so complicated.

Yeaa, I'm a bit of a perfectionist of myself. But a lazy and impatient one. I'm always trying to make my photomanipulation and graphic stuff better and boy, do I have a long way to go! But I have come pretty far. Before, I didn't even know what HTML or graphic design was, but now I'm better than most I know (most people in real life! Because there are a lot of peeps I know on the internet that are like 6536541564651 times better than me)

And that you can pretty much have whatever you want, if you want an 8-story house over looking a beach, then you got it and you will have great feasts with God and a WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE lots more! And the streets will be paved in gold and the gates made of pearl.

No, just drawing it on paper and scanning it in works fine. On the computer you line-art and colour it. And it's all explained in great detail! =] And it's in Dutch, so it's easier to understand for me.

Mathematics C -- is for the n00bz who only get insufficient marks for Maths. It contains mostly Statistics and Probability. EW.
Mathematics A -- is for people who are ok at mathematics, but not really great or something. It's usually about economic stuff, so if you want to become a manager of an important company one day, Maths A is perfect for you. Contains some advanced Statistics and... Some other dull table stuff and Boxplotting. EEEEWWWWWW...
Mathematics B -- is for people who are pretty good at mathematics and for people who LOOOOVE Graphs, Algebra and Trigonometry. This is a must if you want to do something science-like when you grow up.
