These are the rules of our forum, please follow them (in the shoutbox and into the forum). ^_^ We don't think they're really all that severe and hard to follow, you don't have to do much. But, before you start posting, please make sure you've read them all, to avoid future misunderstandings.
If you break the rules, your bad posts will be deleted. And if what you've done is really bad, you may even be banned (for a while or for ever!). (You would become a and you wouldn't be able to log in to the forum with your account again till we'll unban you!)

*RULES*


1 - Please speak ONLY in English, because there are people here from all over the world...so that's the easiest way to understand one another. English is without doubt a language that everyone can understand quite well, after all...and one of the most spoken through out the world! xD So, what's the problem? =D If you want to talk to someone from your same country, please do it using PM. It's annoying to read something and not being able to understand what it means!!

2 - Please don't write often messages with less than 5 words...the forum isn't a chat, write this type of short messages only in the shoutbox. You can do it only every now and then (But don't make a habit of it), and in the game section. Also you should strive to post more than 5 words. 5 words minimum should be the exception, not the rule.

3 - Don't tease anyone and be kind to the others. That means that teasers and disturbers will be banned from the forum. Respect different points of view, and people who belong to a race different from yours. (Half-vampaneze or Vampaneze, for example).

4 - Please don't use chatspeak. A high percentage of users doesn't have English as their first language, so understanding would be a bit...hard. You've all the time you need to write whatever you want...there is no hurry, so, write all the words, please ^_^

5 - Try to not go off-topic. You can talk about non-Darren Shan related topics in the Off Topic boards. To say something private to somebody, Pms are preferred.

6 - Links do not count as words. So a post containing only links will be deleted. Write something else, not only the link! ^^ Don't spam, you can put little links in your signature, and post links of Darren Shan related websites into the Links section.

6b - On this note, Emoticons also do not count as words. So posting 5 emoticons is not posting 5 words. Also please do not post the same emoticon repeatedly. It looks very bad.

7 - Don't write bad words or things like those...and don't talk about things like drugs and sex. Don't swear. Everybody does that will be immediately banned.

8 - Please don't act as a "spoiler". Telling someone who hasn't read a book yet its ending or important information about it is very annoying! Do you know how it feels like? No? Well, don't make the others know it, then! On this note, do not ask for spoilers. If you want to find something out then read it for yourself.

9 - Things like YAOI (Boy x Boy love stuff) and YURI (Girl x Girl love stuff) are allowed, but please don't talk ONLY about them in each topic when you post! Not everyone likes them.

10 - Please, make you sure you haven't a too heavy signature. The ideal might be, maximum a screen as length, 500 Kb as size =D

11 - Don't create double accounts!!! Only an account for person is allowed (except if someone else from your family wants to join, but in this case please tell us in advance!).

12 - Do not double post. If you want to add something to your post then edit, do not make another new post. This is heavily frowned upon and repeatedly doing it will get you banned.

12b - Before making a new topic please make sure there is no other top of that time before posting it. Repeated topics can make the forum confusing.

13 - You must be 11 years old to join the site. Anyone under 11 is not allowed to join. This is for safety purposes. Most children under 11 do not have the emotional maturity to protect themselves from potential predators.
